Caution. Bush bananas are not known to be toxic to dogs, but there’s limited research on their safety. The outer rind contains a white latex-like substance that may cause tingling or irritation in your dog’s mouth and tongue. It's best to offer this fruit only in very small amounts if at all and monitor your dog closely.
