Can dogs eat Palm nuts?

Caution. While some palm nuts are considered edible, several varieties are highly toxic to dogs. Nuts from sago, foxtail, cardboard, and fishtail palms can cause serious health problems, including bloody stools, liver damage, and even death. If your dog has access to palm trees, it's best to keep them away from fallen nuts.

Risks

Servings

Some safe palm nuts for dogs are Guadeloupe fan palm nuts, jelly palm nuts, Chilean wine palm nuts, and California fan palm nuts.
Serve only the edible palm nuts to dogs.
Remove the pit and serve in moderation.
