- Paprika is a mixture of ground dried peppers from the same capsicum annum family. It may include cayenne, hot chili pepper, poblano, and Aleppo peppers, among others. Therefore, paprika has varying flavors and heat levels that could harm a dog.
- Paprika is not toxic to dogs, but excessive consumption can cause diarrhea, dehydration, and digestive irritation in dogs. It can also cause a burning sensation in the mouth and throat.
