- The bishop’s weed contains harmful compounds such as insoluble calcium oxalates, furanocoumarins, and nitrates. They are present in all parts of the plant, most especially the seeds.
- Ingesting the bishop’s weed exposes dogs to the risk of losing their eyesight and having sensitivity to sunlight.
