- The cardinal climber produces seeds that contain hallucinogenic agents such as lysergic acid diethylamide. Ingesting them in excessive quantities can cause dogs to have delusions.
- Some of the typical symptoms of cardinal climber poisoning are stomach upset, diarrhea, tremors, and agitation.
