- All parts of the cherry laurel, including the seeds and leaves, contain toxic cyanogenic glycosides. Eating any of them can interfere with the skeletal and nerve function of canines.
- Dogs that ingested cherry laurels may show toxicity symptoms like agitation, breathing difficulties, dilated pupils, and tremors. In severe cases, convulsions, heart arrhythmia, and collapse are likely to happen.
