- The climbing nightshade has many naturally occurring toxins including aramines, solanocapsine, and solanine. Vomiting and diarrhea may ensue in dogs after ingesting the plant.
- Other potential side effects of climbing nightshade in dogs are abnormal heart rate, depression, and breathing difficulties.
