- Several parts of the flowering almond, including its leaves, seeds, and stems, contain toxic cyanogenic glycosides.
- Ingesting any of the aforementioned parts can induce mild toxicity in dogs. Symptoms that might manifest are breathing difficulties, excessive panting, and dilated pupils.
