- Although grass is edible, it's not a suitable food source for dogs. Grass may have parasites and bacteria, which can make your dog sick. Your dog may be nibbling on grass that's treated with pesticides, fertilizers, or herbicides, which can be harmful to your dogs.
- Grazing on grass is not harmful to dogs, however, some grasses grow alongside garden plants that may be toxic to dogs.
