Risks
- The calcium oxalates found in the philodendron micans can cause oral irritation in dogs. If consumed, swelling of their mouth, tongue, and lips may ensue. Difficulties in swallowing and breathing may also occur.
- Ingesting the plant can cause the calcium oxalates to induce stomach upset in dogs.
