Risks
- Suicide tree has caused numerous human fatalities due to its extremely toxic seeds. While there's no record of the plant causing poisoning in dogs, caution must be exercised.
- The cardiac glycoside called cerberin is identified to be the main source of the suicide tree’s toxicity. Ingesting it has caused vomiting, slow heart rate, and abnormal blood clotting abilities in humans. These symptoms can potentially occur in dogs.
