- The umbrella tree produces a cocktail of toxic agents for dogs such as insoluble calcium oxalates, saponins, and terpenoids. When consumed, it can induce mild vomiting and diarrhea in dogs.
- Other symptoms of umbrella tree poisoning in dogs are excessive drooling, swollen face, inflamed mouth, and restlessness.
