- The flowers, leaves, seeds, and stems of the weeping cherry contain traces of cyanogenic glycosides. Ingesting large doses of these compounds can induce poisoning in dogs.
- Common symptoms of weeping cherry poisoning in dogs are vomiting, diarrhea, and panting. Severe clinical signs that may occur are seizures, coma, and respiratory failure.
