Risks
- All parts of the annual vinca produce the compounds vinca alkaloids, which can cause poisoning in dogs. Ingestion can cause vomiting, stomach cramps, nausea, and constipation to manifest.
- In serious cases, annual vinca toxicity can induce low blood pressure, paralysis, and death in dogs.
