Risks
- Certain types of garden verbena are toxic to dogs, such as lantana and lemon verbena. Ingesting them increases the risk of displaying poisoning symptoms such as depression, weakness, vomiting, and diarrhea.
- While some varieties of the garden verbena are safe for dogs, they are not easy to digest. Consuming them, particularly in large amounts can cause gastric distress.
