Risks
- The mapleleaf begonia is a shrubby begonia, a decorative houseplant. It should not be planted in a household with dogs as they have a tendency to chew everything.
- Its poison is soluble calcium oxalate. When dogs ingest any part of the plant, especially the roots, dogs could experience salivation and vomiting.
