- Peace lily houses sharp calcium oxalate crystals that can cause inflammation and irritation on the mouth and throat of dogs when consumed. This condition tends to be accompanied by hypersalivation, diarrhea, and vomiting. In severe cases, breathing difficulties may manifest.
- Peace lily’s sap may trigger irritation if it comes into contact with dogs’ skin.
