Risks
- The sap, seeds, and stems of the Florida arrowroot contain a variety of toxins like glycoside and cycasin. Ingesting them can cause diarrhea, abdominal pains, vomiting, and dark stools in dogs.
- Ingesting 1-2 seeds of the Florida arrowroot plant is enough to induce severe poisoning in canines, which can be fatal.
