- When ingested, this poisonous mushroom can trigger stomach cramps, diarrhea, agitation, and lack of coordination in dogs. Lethal side effects like renal failure may follow if toxicity is left untreated.
- The panthercap has a fishy odor that many dogs find enticing. This mushroom is commonly seen in spring, summer, and fall and grows nearby conifers and broadleaf trees.
