Risks
- The spider plant produces trace amounts of an opium like compound. While this has a low chance of causing toxicity to dogs, it can cause stomach upset, vomiting, and diarrhea.
- Dogs’ stomachs are not accustomed to digesting plant material. So ingesting the spider flower in large amounts may result in GI distress.
