- The satin pothos has calcium oxalates that can cause oral irritation when chewed. It can make the mouth, tongue, and lips of dogs swell leading to difficulties in swallowing.
- Ingesting the plant in large quantities can result in breathing difficulties, convulsions, and coma in canines.
